Our payment system is tailored to provide the best experience for both customers and Hilfrs. We work with the payment company Stripe, who specializes in transactions between private individuals.
The Hilfr fills in bank account details in the profile, and the customer fills in credit card details. The information is held secure in the system and is not passed to any third-parties besides from Stripe of course.
Once the details have been filled in, neither the customer nor the Hilfr will have to put in their details again. When a booking is made, the agreed amount will be reserved on the customer’s credit card. Not until the task has been concluded will the payment go through to the Hilfr. This payment goes straight from customer to Hilfr.
It usually takes 5-7 days from the cleaning for the payment to reach the Hilfr’s account.
